trueSpace4
Photoshop 6

This image was done for a contest held by the Romanian "XtremPC" computer magazine, together with my buddy Silviu Badea. First of all, WE WON!!! Yeah! In your face! Then I'll mention that the contest was about building a 3D scene as close as possible to a photo they had provided.

Winning was so sweet, because the prize was the boxed version of the freshly-released trueSpace5. And we were loving trueSpace back then.

Rendered in about 20 minutes on my ex AMD Athlon @750 MHz with 128 MB RAM. The scene has over 250.000 polygons and 4 shadow map lights. It was massively lagging because of the low RAM we had, and crashing and breaking the saved scene files because of how buggy trueSpace was.

The original photo that we had to make in 3D.
